A collaborative program with FAO, Department of Agriculture, and Sri Lanka Institute of Agriculture (SLIAg)
The Sri Lanka Institute for Agriculture (SLIAg), in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Department of Agriculture, is organizing a technical and awareness creation program to commemorate the “2022 world food day” under the FAOtheme “Leave no one Behind: for Better Production, Nutrition, Environment and Better Life”.
The program will be held on 18th October 2022 (9.00 am – 1.30 pm) at the National Agricultural Information and Communication Centre (NAICC) at Gannoruwa, Peradeniya as a hybrid session. The program will be graced by Mr Vimlendra Sharan, the Representative of
the FAO of the United Nations for Sri Lanka and the Maldives as the Keynote Speaker.
