Sri Lanka Organization of Agriculture Professionals (hereinafter referred to as “SLOAP”) which was established in March 2005, has been transformed as to the Sri Lanka Institute of Agriculture (hereinafter referred to as “SLIAg”) in accordance with the decision taken unanimously at the Special General Meeting of SLOAP held on 18th October 2019. The constitution of SLIAg was adopted unanimously at its first Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 4th September 2020. Subsequently, several resolutions were proposed to the article 7, 8, 16 and 17 of the constitution and the amended constitution was adopted unanimously at the 2nd AGM of SLIAg held on 30th July 2021.
