The first certificate course organized by the SLUAg on "Phytosanitary Certification for Cross Border Trade of Plants and Plant Products" aiming to provide up-to-date guidance on the phytosanitary certification process to promote trade of healthy plants and plant products was successfully completed on 22nd July 2023 at the Hector Kobbakeduwa Research and Training Institute, Colombo. This training program was organized with the support of the National Plant Quarantine Service (NPQS) of the Department of Agriculture. Mr K.E Karunathilake, President of the SLIAg, Dr. Thalata C.
